Meet Leon!
Adoption Fee: $75
Breed Guess: Pit/Weimaraner
Leon is courtesy listed for a private citizen in need of rehoming their dog. He is crate trained, house trained, good with other dogs, cats, and kids (best suited for older kids due to his energy level).
From his current family:
Leon is one of the most amazing dogs you could meet. He is so smart, knows so many important commands and has incredible talent. His potential to continue to grow and learn is so evident. Leon is house and crate trained as well. This boy would likely do well with an active family and/or a family wiling to take him to doggie daycare!
Leon does have some behaviors that need to be worked on. For example, when he is out walking, sometimes he will see another dog and he is perfectly fine, other times his excitement level is hard to control. He has never been aggressive towards another dog, he just gets super hyper and thinks every other dog or human he meets wants nothing more than to be hugged, loved and slobbered by him. LOL
Leon lives with two other dogs and four cats. He does well with them all, except one cat, and we don't know why they do not get along. Leon has a lot of energy and wants to walk, run and play constantly. At times he does not understand when it is down time. He really is so loving and wants to be around people.
Please consider giving this beautiful boy a forever home. He will definitely steal your heart.
A completed adoption application and home visit are required for approval to adopt a CARE dog. Out of state adoptions okay.
