Brandy and her littermates were born 2 days before Thanksgiving 2007. Their mother was dumped on a very sweet man in Winnsboro, SC while she was still pregnant. Thank goodness he was willing to care for all of them and is trying to find them homes. We have joined forces with him to help them get good quality homes. Brandy has been spayed, dewormed, given monthly heartworm prevention, tapeworm medication, and vaccinated for: Distemper/Parvo (1st, 2nd & 3rd booster), Kennel Cough, and Rabies. This is all included in the adoption fee. Brandy is a Shepherd/Collie mix puppy. She's about 24 lbs. right now. Our guess is she will be around 50-60 lbs. as an adult. Brandy may not do well with children, she has not been around them in her foster home. She does do well with children at adoption days. She currently lives with several other dogs in foster care. *****CARE does not have a physical shelter. We foster these animals in our private homes. We are usually unable to return calls during the week due to our full schedules with work, family and the animals we care for.
